Members and their guests are invited to lunch at the Old Hall, Queens’ College
Enjoy the opportunity to network over pre-dinner drinks, followed by lunch and guest speaker, Nigel Apperley.
Nigel, an MBA graduate from Cranfield School of Management, has over two decades of E-commerce expertise and has held several senior executive positions in large organisations including Kwik-Fit, Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton and Slendertone. Nigel has had four exits, successfully growing businesses from no turnover to £20m before selling.
Nigel had the idea for Trustist while working as the head of E-commerce at Kwik-Fit and a successful trial helped to increase revenues by 50% across the 40 branches. Nigel then left Kwik-Fit to set Trustist up so that he could help other businesses achieve these kinds of increases in sales.
Recently, Nigel has launched TrustistTransfer that offers reduced transaction fees [90% less] and a more secure solution than traditional methods] and an increased likelihood of repeat customers due to offering their preferred payment methods.
The title of Nigel’s talk is “Using the Power of Reviews to Grow Your Business and a few Things Payment Related”.

ACCESSING QUEEN’S COLLEGE : Access to the Lunch is via Queens’ College Porters’ Lodge. Google Map to Porters’ Lodge 8 Silver St, Cambridge CB3 9ES, UK
CAR PARKING : The closest is less than 5 mins walk at the YourParkingSpace Car Park behind the Graduate Hotel. The Grand Arcade Car Park which is 5 min walk away. Some members prefer the Queen Anne Terrace Car Park which is a 15 min walk to the Porters Lodge as driving to the Graduate Hotal and the Grand Arcade can take much more time than the 10 min difference between the walks – and it is significantly cheaper!
